NIGHTTIME - 3 layers of bamboo/organic cotton are equivalent to 9 layers when tri-folded (or three 3-layer inserts), making them less expensive per-absorbent-layer than buying inserts individually, and are generally trimmer.

PREPPING INSTRUCTIONS: Prefold insert must be fully prepped before full absorbency is achieved. Prefold insert will be highly absorbent and trim fitting after 6-10 washes.
- Wash with hot water and a small amount of cloth diaper safe detergent, cold rinse, dry on low.
- Repeat 3-5 times (or more) without detergent. Prefolds/inserts must be fully dry between washing.
- Remember, if you experience poor absorbency at first prefold, give it time! Additional washes will create positive results.
